If you haven’t seen the trailer for the new James Bond movie, Spectre, stop what you are doing right now and go see it!
Ok, now that you’ve educated yourself, the latest rumours out of China suggest that Sony will be launching their new flagship device alongside the release of Spectre. Although this IS all speculative, take a look at this photo:
Now assuming (read: hoping) this isn’t some crafty Photoshop, it looks like Sony’s next smartphone will be released sometime in November or October (along with the movie) and will be heavily used by Mr. Bond himself.
The ‘Z’ of the Z5 is also conveniently scrambled out, which could be a) another Bond tie-in or b) a sign that Sony is looking to change the name of their latest device.
The device itself is rumoured to be quite the monster with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, 4 GBs of RAM and a 21 Megapixel rear-facing camera. That’s enough to Make ‘Q’ blush.
Only time will tell if there is any weight to this rumour, but in the meantime, us Bond fans can hope!
